The Delaware Psychological Association at its Annual Convention, October 15, 2010, at the Atlantic Sands Hotel in Rehoboth Beach presented Chimes Delaware The Non-Profit Organization Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award.
This program acknowledges employers for creating workplaces that foster employee health and well-being while enhancing organizational performance.
The award program was created to recognize organizations that understand the link between employee health and well-being and organizational performance and have implemented a variety of workplace practices in an active effort to create a positive work environment. Each applicant was judged on criteria including: employee involvement; health and safety; employee growth and development; work-life balance; and employee recognition.
Alan B. Levin, Director of The Delaware Economic Development Office, joined William V. Mentzer, Executive Director of the Delaware Psychological Association, in presenting the award.
Dr. Lois Meszaros, Director of Behavioral and Case Management Services, Susan Stokes, and Sonya Fletcher accepted the award on behalf of the entire Chimes Delaware Team in honor of their dedication and commitment.
Chimes Delaware located in Newark, Delaware is one of the state’s largest providers of day, vocational, and residential services for people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
